Golf Tournament
Since 2002 our Sisters have sponsored an annual golf tournament in July to benefit our Sisters’ ministries across the country. Many businesses and individuals have supported the golf tournaments through Sponsorships and playing in the tournament. The 2007 tournament was July 16 at Crescent Farms Golf Club. Reverse Raffle
The Sisters have held an annual Dinner Auction in November since 1996. In 2002, we added to the fun of the event by instituting a Reverse Raffle Dinner Auction. For a donation of $150, donors receive a certificate that entitles them to participate in a drawing for cash prizes and an evening of fun for two including dinner and cocktails, silent and oral auctions and more. Only 250 certificates are offered. A prize is awarded for every 25th name chosen. As the last names are drawn, major cash prizes are awarded. Finally, the 250th and final name is selected and that person receives the Grand prize of $3,000. THIS IS ONE INSTANCE WHERE IT PAYS TO BE THE LAST! You don’t have to be present to win so friends and benefactors from across the country can (and do) participate in this event.
