Participate in “Earth Hour” by turning off your lights for one hour on March 27th, 2010 8:30-9:30 PM Local Time.
During Earth Hour hundreds of millions of people around the world will come together to call for action on climate change by doing something quite simple—turning off their lights for one hour. This action shows that by coming together to act we can make a positive impact to protect our future and that of generations to come.
How: Just flick off all the lights in your house for that hour. Light a candle. Have a conversation. Read a book. Earth Hour will once again cascade around the globe, from new Zealand to Hawaii. The St. Louis Gateway Arch has once again committed to participating in Earth Hour by going dark for one hour!
